Kevin Breen – Chairman

Kevin Breen is a highly regarded and experienced Director, sitting on a number of commercial and not for profit Boards. He has had a long career in senior roles in local government.

Kevin was a key driving force in the establishment of a community philanthropic foundation, and is passionate about social justice and creating pathways to employment.

Richard McGrath – Deputy Chairman

Richard is the Managing Director of CLM Accountants in Hervey Bay. Richard commenced as a Director of Wide Bay Group Training Scheme in 1997 and also served as Treasurer. When WBGT merged with MRAEL in 2009, Richard came forward as a Director, serving a period as Chairman of the Audit & Risk Sub-committee and then Chairman of MRAEL Limited from November 2011 to May 2016.

Richard brings many years of experience providing professional advice to businesses of all sizes. Richard is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand and a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Elizabeth Board – Director

Elizabeth has had extensive teaching, leadership and advancement experience in primary, secondary and tertiary education. Her previous Board roles extend to various not-for-profit organisations including Aged Care and Regional Hospitals that specialised in corporate governance and strategic planning.

As an Associate of Philanthropy Squared, Elizabeth has consulted in fundraising strategy and implementation to schools and universities.

Poul Bottern – Director and Company Secretary

Poul Bottern joined IntoWork Australia as Group CEO in September 2012. He has 30 years experience in community and employment related services - many in senior management roles within well known not-for-profit organisations. Poul has worked with the Board and Management Team in building IntoWork Australia into a large national apprenticeship, employment, recruitment and training provider.

Across 11 companies, IntoWork now employs 600 staff, thousands of apprentices, trainees, and short term placements, and also trains tens of thousands of students each year. Poul is involved in various forums and peak bodies, including his role as President of the National Australian Apprenticeship Association and a Board Member of national employment services provider CoAct.
